Using the New Ad Order / New Sourcing Order (if enabled)

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  This option is not available for Customers or Ad Agencies.  This is also only available at a limited number of organizations.

 

Sales Representatives, Sales Assistants, and Team Leads may have a need to place New Ad Orders outside of their traditional order entry systems.  This could be because it is an internal order or because there isn't a traditional order entry system capable of booking these types of ads.  As such, ATOL provides a way to request these types of ads from Ad Production.  For these, you'll use the New Ad Order form.

 

Also, if you are working on a system from an ad design center that you send production to, you may need to use the New Sourcing Order form.

 

New Ad Order Form

 

Reasons for using the New Ad Order form might include:

You need to allow Circulation and other departments to order promotional materials, rack cards, posters, etc.

You need to order Special Sections and Commercial Products because there is no traditional order entry interface.

You need to order Digital/Online Ads because there is no traditional order entry interface.

 

 

To order a New Spec Ad, click on the NEW AD menu and then click NEW AD ORDER.

 

 

 

You will be presented with your organizations NEW AD ORDER form.  Answer all questions shown. 

 

At this point, the balance of the process is identical to "Submitting Ad Copy"

 

 

New Sourcing Order Form

 

Reasons for using the New Sourcing Order form might include:

You need order production from an centralized ad production studio.

 

To order a New Spec Ad, click on the NEW AD menu and then click NEW SOURCING ORDER.

 

 

 

You will be presented with your organizations NEW SOURCING ORDER form.  Answer all questions shown. 

 

At this point, the balance of the process is identical to "Submitting Ad Copy"
